Artist's Statement

My name is Bryan Yuen and I am 14-year-old learning the art of photography. The majority of my photographs fall into the category of minimalism. I like minimalism because it creates a clean photo that accentuates the subject. I want to express the feeling someone has when they are in the environment where the photograph was taken. My photographs have had a drastic change before I took the time to work and develop my skills. Before, I used to only take photos at eye level, but I have learned to shoot at different angles and perspectives. I get inspiration and influence from looking at works of professional photographers.
